Smart Farm Engineering Lab is a free online engineering calculator suite designed to assist growers, greenhouse designers, and agricultural engineers with high-precision microclimate and hydraulic calculations. Instead of generalized AI or complex, costly simulation software, we provide focused, scientifically backed tools that can be directly applied to commercial operations.

All calculations provided by our portal are based on peer-reviewed horticultural and biophysical models:

  • Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD): Application of horticultural physiology models defining crop temp and transpiration relations.
  • 3-Way Mixing Valve sizing (Kv): Calculation of required flow rate and friction head loss for hot water heating design and valve sizing.
